One Community Reads; Healthy Eating in 2018; Science Cafe: Blocking Pain
Billing itself as Northeast Ohio's biggest book club, One Community Reads is back. It's a collaboration between nine local public library systems, the City Club of Cleveland, and Playhouse Square and it aims to create a shared reading experience for the Greater Cleveland community. This year, it's the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, "Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City" by Dr. Matthew Desmond. And, how to keep eating healthy in 2018. Then, researchers at Case Western Reserve University continue to work on exciting technology that uses electrical nerve stimulation to do everything from blocking pain to stopping Parkinson's tremors.

Science Cafe - The Music Box Supper Club - Concert Hall, 1148 Main Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113. Doors will be open 5:30 - 9:00 PM (Last call at 8:45PM). Presentation and discussion is 7:00 - 8:00 PM. The Concert Hall will also host a limited menu before and during the event.
